I read an article on Forbes.com about achieving work-life balance.  I thought I’d pass on the 10 steps they suggested for achieving work-life balance.

Steps for Achieving Work Life Balance

  1. Identify Your Priorities;
  2. Edit yourself;
  3. Learn your employer’s policy–here the article indicates that there may be policies in place that allow for workers to work from home or allows for some other flexibility in scheduling;
  4. Have a support system;
  5. Communicate;
  6. Use technology to your advantage;
  7. Telecommute;
  8. Find a balance mentor;
  9. Set a time frame; and
  10. Be sure to ask.
